QA, DevOps & Release Engineer — Production Readiness, Testing & Deployment | Careers

TYSAPA is looking for a QA, DevOps & Release Engineer to ensure that its software and AI-enabled systems are reliable, secure, tested, deployable, and maintainable. This role can start as fractional or project-based, but the function is essential for serious client delivery.

TYSAPA’s projects involve documents, client data, approvals, dashboards, AI outputs, role-based access, audit trails, and operational workflows. This means quality and deployment cannot be treated as an afterthought. The right candidate should understand testing, release discipline, environments, CI/CD, containers, monitoring, backup, access control, and production readiness.

Role & responsibilities

Create and execute test plans for web applications, dashboards, workflows, permissions, forms, documents, APIs, integrations, and AI-assisted outputs.
Perform manual testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing support, and release verification.
Build or support automated tests where appropriate.
Manage development, staging, and production environments.
Support CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, server setup, environment variables, logs, backups, and deployment documentation.
Monitor application performance, errors, uptime, security issues, and operational stability.
Validate role-based access, audit trails, data handling, file uploads, notifications, and workflow edge cases.
Work with engineers to identify bugs, reproduce issues, and improve reliability.
Support cloud, private cloud, hybrid, or on-prem deployment models depending on client requirements.
Help define TYSAPA’s internal release checklist, QA standards, and production-readiness process.

Requirements

Experience in QA testing, DevOps, software operations, deployment, technical support, or release engineering.
Familiarity with Git, Docker, Linux, CI/CD pipelines, cloud hosting, monitoring tools, and basic networking.
Ability to test web applications, APIs, permissions, workflows, forms, dashboards, and business logic.
Strong attention to detail and ability to document bugs clearly.
Understanding of backups, access control, environment management, logging, and production support.
Experience with Node.js, Next.js, PostgreSQL, Python, or containerized applications is helpful.
Experience testing AI, document-processing, data, or workflow automation systems is a strong advantage.
Security awareness and disciplined handling of client data.
Ability to work calmly under release pressure and support production troubleshooting.
